Hi! I’m Jennifer, Founder and President of Neechie Skin. I started this brand as an extension of my longstanding passion for healing and wellness. Our small batch, handmade, natural products are created to help you glow, heal, shine, and even change. We use good ingredients like shea butter, vitamin E, sweet almond oil, and natural essential oils that work with your body chemistry, not against it. As a breast cancer survivor (still winning, BTW) who couldn’t find anything on the market that didn’t irritate my skin after treatment, I started to make my own. My mother also had sensitive skin, so I created products that avoided harsh chemicals and unnecessary additives that our bodies could love. As a child, I remember my mom’s friends and clients calling her Neechie. The beauty salon she owned on the south side of Chicago was named the same. I didn’t find out until after she passed that not only was it her nickname, but in some First Nation and Indigenous communities, Neechie means friend. Since my mom was my best friend, and these products are a friend to your skin, the name is ideal for this journey.

These small-batch items are less of a product line and more of a revolution. A change in how we see the connection between our bodies, our energy, and our confidence. An investment in ourselves, since what we put on our bodies goes into our bodies. It is one way we don’t sacrifice our wellness because I believe in the importance of what we put on and what we take in. It all matters.
